“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think,” is the motto of GHS. Students here are encouraged to put their best foot forward in order to achieve academic, sporting, and social greatness in our school. Students are provided with platforms in the form of various inter class, inter house and inter school competitions where not only the inborn talents of the child are polished to shine but also builds confidence and help enhance their personality. The potential of the students is channelized by teacher cum facilitators with a holistic student-centred approach. We strive in honing confidence and personality in our kids in addition to polishing their innate abilities. Our school fosters an environment in which the student understands the importance as a contributing member of society who is responsible, well-rounded, and believes in building a bright future for everyone. Plans to embrace as well as develop opportunities for our young people are very high on our agenda. These include, an extended curriculum, sports, Art and Crafts, various events and workshops. The school uses unique assemblies to encourage strong character attributes among its kids.
A good and well-rounded Education system enables child’s overall growth in addition to helping them achieve academic brilliance, we therefore strive to help students develop their mental, physical, and social qualities. Throughout the year, the school offers co-curricular and academic programs that encourage student’s originality and creativity. While regular sports assist students develop their physical skills, there are meditation sessions that help students cultivate their spiritual qualities.
I am extremely pleased to be writing this piece as we look back and recollect our last two years which have been immensely eventful. They were wonderful years packed with so many proceedings for fun and education, filled with so many colourful experiences which were a delight to everyone like International Dance Day, Jungle Safari, Shapes and Colour Activity, Elocution: Hindi & English, Sports Day, People Who Helps Us and many more.
A special note of thanks to our Principal Ma’am who inspires and pushes us to be our absolute best and strive towards success each day in order to fly the school flag proudly and bring laurels to our school name. Also, a big thanks to you all for your continued support and encouragement of all our young people here. I feel very privileged and proud to be working alongside some very special and talented individuals. As such, we all here are committed to secure the very best possible outcomes and successes in all that we do.
